Education

I was graduated from Zhong Shan (Sun Yat-sen) University in 1983.

Family

X i a o B a i , my son on July 9, 1994, when he was one year old. He was born in the hospital Naistenklinikka, Helsinki, Finland, in the afternoon of July 9, 1993. When he was still a baby, whenever he ate his full, he would shake his head side to side to get away the milk bottle. His behaviour reminded me that it might be the very origin of shaking head expressing 'No'.

On August 5, 1996, the first day he went to kindergarten, "Papa,", he asked me, "where is your kindergarten?".

Recently, we have been watching a children's TV series Muumilaakso, whenver he see the woman announcer just before the series, he will tell me "Ah Yi is waiting to see the series too.".

Marriage is such an institute, where the man lost his Bachlor degree, while the woman got her Master's.

My family is physically living in Finland.

Internet has become one important part of my life since the summer of 1992, therefore, if my telephone line is occupied by my modem, and hard to get through, I can be reached in the following addresses on a daily basis mostly:

People who know modern computer science know there is a difference between the concepts Internet and internet (please note the case at the beginning of the words). There is only one Internet, while many internets exist. Here is an article (encoded in hz8 format, i.e. readable either in GB or HZ capable browser) from HXWZ cm9709a (the first issue of September 1997) talking about them and other new terms translated in Chinese, proposal for standardization.

PGP is a good armor. Sometimes it really helps you a lot. Such as verify the credibility of my signed E-mail via my Public Key.
